Singing Club

Rehearsals are going well at our Sutton network singing club on Mondays.

We have a super, enthusiastic choir who are working hard towards our performance in December.

It's a pleasure and lots of fun to sing with them each week.

‘Mighty Minibeasts’ Early Years Songfest

The children in Classes 1 and 2 took part in a fabulous singing event at St. Helens Town Hall on Wednesday afternoon.

They have been working hard this half term learning lots of songs all about the incredible insects that live in our gardens as part of their learning challenge.

They joined with children from other schools across the town to perform their songs together, play creepy crawly games and celebrate the wonderful world of minibeasts.

A big ‘Well done!’ to all the boys and girls who took part!

You were amazing!

Young Voices Concert 2015

Our Young Voices Choir from Years Five and Six took part in this year’s Concert at the Phones4U Arena in Manchester on Wednesday evening. Joining thousands of children from across England, Wales and Scotland, they formed a massed choir to sing songs they had been learning throughout the year. They were accompanied by a fabulous ten piece live band, young professional vocalists including Lucy Spraggan and the amazing street dance troop, Urban Strides.

Our children performed brilliantly and their behaviour was exemplary for such a long and busy day.

Well done to all who took part: you were awesome!!

Below are a few of the highlights.

We look forward to starting it all over again next September with a new group!

Don’t miss it!

Mrs Littler
