A Little Visitor

A Little Visitor
Miss Robinson was very shocked to find a baby frog in Class 2 when she arrived on Wednesday morning. He was sitting in front of the board looking ready to learn, so we decided to let him stay for a little bit. We researched what frogs needed to survive and made him a little home. Then, we decided he needed a name so we agreed to have a vote. We chose some names then everyone voted on their favourite in a secret ballot. It was all very democratic! Afterwards, he went for a little trip around the school to find out what the other classes were learning about too.  After a couple of days, we decided it was right to let the frog go and find himself a new home where he could meet new friends. Who knows... He may even come back to visit us one day.

God the Creator

God the Creator
In RE we are thinking about how God created everything we have around us. We looked at the story of the creation and discussed how fantastic God is to make so many different and wonderful things in the World. Then, we decided to get creative too. We had 30 minutes to 'create' something using different materials in the classroom. Some of us used Lego; others used clay or made models from boxes and bottles. Some of us chose to make a book or do a dance. When our time was up we had to show the rest of the class what we had created and talk about it.
