Our Y5 pupils enjoyed taking part in the Crucial Crew event this afternoon at the Totally Wicked stadium. They participated in activities including road safety, online safety, how to keep themselves safe in the home and how to stay safe when out with friends.

Anglo-Saxons VS Vikings

Anglo-Saxons VS Vikings
Class 10 have been learning about the Viking invasion of Britain and the impact it had on the Anglo-Saxons who ruled at the time. Here the children took time after learning about the first Viking attack to split into two sides for a debate about how they would feel if they were a Viking or an Anglo-Saxon. There were some harsh words used on both sides and it was great seeing them get into the role with such enthusiasm.
