Games Day!

On Friday the children took part in Games day. In the morning years 5 and 6 could choose between playing football and netball lead by Mr Williams and Mrs Clarke. Then in the afternoon they could choose between rugby and rounders lead by Miss Powell, Mrs Deveoux and Mr Holland. Everyone took part and shows great sportsmanship skills.

Year Six Visit Liverpool Cathedral!

On the 16th June year six were invited to Liverpool Cathedral for a leavers service. They were able look around the cathedral and then took part in a beautiful service. There were many other schoosl from in and around Liverpool and it was a very special day to remember. They even got to sing their favourite song 'my lighthouse'.

Diversity Games Afternoon

This afternoon has been a fun filled, non stop, games workshop. I am glad to say everyone of class 10, joined in with each activity. the activities allowed us to see what it would be like if we lost some of the things we are very use to having such as; sight, use of legs and taste. The children were very competitive in some of the sports, but crucially they could see the games from another point of view.

Such an Inspirational Day!

We finally got to meet the famous author we have herd so much about...

Class 10 were so grateful to Glenys Nellist and her husband Dave as they came to talk about the story of how Glenys wrote the book 'love letters from God' . She answered several questions that the children had prepared and read her favourite story with such wonderful enthusiasm.

Glenys was such an inspiration to us all and she emphasised the importance of our school value, perseverance. A big thank you to Glenys and Dave for such a magnificent day!
