Diversity Games Afternoon

This afternoon has been a fun filled, non stop, games workshop. I am glad to say everyone of class 10, joined in with each activity. the activities allowed us to see what it would be like if we lost some of the things we are very use to having such as; sight, use of legs and taste. The children were very competitive in some of the sports, but crucially they could see the games from another point of view.

Such an Inspirational Day!

We finally got to meet the famous author we have herd so much about...

Class 10 were so grateful to Glenys Nellist and her husband Dave as they came to talk about the story of how Glenys wrote the book 'love letters from God' . She answered several questions that the children had prepared and read her favourite story with such wonderful enthusiasm.

Glenys was such an inspiration to us all and she emphasised the importance of our school value, perseverance. A big thank you to Glenys and Dave for such a magnificent day!

Workshops in class 10

On Wednesday 29th of April class 10 had a visit from the students of Cowley International College. The students put on 4 workshops each about a different religion. Class 10 then split into four groups one group attending one workshop each. Class 10 will now pass on this knowledge to other children in the school.

Spanish Hobbies

Friday's Spanish lesson allowed class 10 to experiment with Spanish words such as nadar and cantar. Not sure what these mean? Class 10 should be able to help you out after playing Spanish bingo.

The Destruction of Rainforests

Class 10 are becoming quite the experts when it comes down to completing a learning walk around the class room. This Thursday's geography lesson took them around the classroom learning about the destruction of rainforests. Ask the children who is it that causes the rainforests the most harm?
