Sharing stories with Class 5

As part of our World Book Day celebrations we had lots of fun sharing our favourite stories with the children in Class 5. Some of their children had the opportunity to read with their siblings, cousins and nieces! All of the children had a great time sharing stories and making new friends.

Class 11 Haka

In our PE lessons we have been learning about the Maori dance ‘The Haka.’ 

 

We have had great fun learning the different actions, routines and chants. Here we are performing our version of the Haka for Class 5.

Music in Class 11

We're really enjoying our weekly music classes with Mr Walker from The Sutton Academy. Over the last couple of weeks we have been using the percussion instruments to compose a piece of music to accompany the story 'The Singing River.' We're looking forward to hearing our final compositions.
