In Science we have been learning about how and bricks are the best material when making houses. We described the properties of bricks before going outside and looking at how they were put together to make a wall. Finally, we had a go at making our own wall!

World Book Day!

World Book Day!
We have thoroughly enjoyed taking part in World Book Day this year. We have been reading the book 'Room on the Broom' by Julia Donaldson and have been totally enthralled by it!! We have made the witches potion, pencil holders and written great descriptions on the different characters. We enjoyed listening to some prayers and psalms written by Glennis Nellist and having Class 10 come to visit.

A visitor came to visit!

A visitor came to visit!
Today a special visitor came to see us - Fin's dad, Mr Milow! He brought with him his Dad's teddy bear that is 67 years old! He told us lots about the teddy bear and let us touch him. He then asked us lots of questions about what we had learnt during our Toys topic. Thank you for coming to visit us!

Maths Week!
Today we have had to answer the following question:
The length of your foot is the same as the length of your wrist to your elbow. Is this always true, sometimes true or never true.'
We had a lot of fun testing out this theory, coming to the conclusion that this is sometimes true!

Tally Charts
On Monday we learnt how to make our own tally chart. We thought of our question that we were going to so the rest of the class and gave them a series of options that they could choose from. We then enjoyed counting up the votes to see which one was the winner!
