What would it be like to be an astronaut?

In Class 4, the children have been learning about what it would be like to be an astronaut. They have found out about what it would be like if they travelled to the moon and they designed their own space suits, with all the features that would be needed to survive on the moon. The children enjoyed learning about Neil Armstrong and they generated questions to ask him about his first adventure to the moon. Ben was then in the 'hot seat' as Neil Armstrong and answered the children's questions!

In Class 4...

We have been investigating the question... Can paper be strong? We found out that paper is stronger when it is rolled into tubes. Then we designed and made paper bridges. Aaron's bridge passed the 'STRENGTH' test, as it could hold a 1kg weight without collapsing!

Golden time in Class 4

The children in Class 4 enjoyed bringing in some of their Christmas toys and dressing up clothes to play with for this week's Golden Time treat, as a reward for all their hard work in class. Lexie was dressed up as Rapuzel and Aimee was dressed up as Elsa!

In Class 4 we have been busy making bird seed cakes and hanging them from trees in our playground. We are hoping to attract more birds into our school playground.
