We have been very interested in numbers, shapes, colours and letters in our environment. Eli painted 'someone else's name' at the easel. We like sorting, matching, counting, threading and lots more.

Run, run as fast as you can..........
After enjoying the story of The Gingerbread Man we decided to bake our own in Nursery. It was great fun mixing all the ingredients together, especially when it changed to dough. We rolled it out and cut out our shapes before decorating them. They were delicious! Mmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!

Autumn Walk
We have been exploring the school grounds looking for signs of Autumn. There were lots of different coloured leaves and most of them were on the ground. he children took a special Autumn collection bag home and filled it with Autumn treasures. They brought these back to school for us to investigate.

Reading is fabulous!
We love to read books in Nursery and we like to share them with our friends and family. We have lots and lots of favourite stories, especially the traditional tales such as the Gingerbread Man. Remember a book can be enjoyed anywhere and anytime.

Outdoor learning is fun!

Outdoor learning is fun!
During our first half term the children have been having lots of fun exploring the outdoor play area. They have been den building, climbing, sharing, filling and pouring and taking risks. They are becoming more independent and are learning to put on and take off their outdoor clothing. We look forward to more outdoor fun!
