On Friday the 3rd March we had a visit from Marie Rimmer MP and Alison from Kellogg’s. They visited our A&B Club to see the children and find out what they do during the sessions. They were very impressed with the children and said they would love to come and visit us again. Well done Mr Holland, Miss O’Connor and all the children involved.

Sutton Young Singers Spring Concert

Sutton Young Singers Spring Concert

Our Sutton network singing club sang in the first Spring Concert of the week last night at the Town Hall, along with children from other clubs across the town.
With strong performances from all our singers, including a number of soloists, they entertained their friends and families with a variety of songs.
Well done to everybody who took part. We are very proud of you all!
The club runs as usual next Monday until the end of the term.

World Book Day 2017

World Book Day 2017
We had a fantastic day celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 2nd March. We came to school in our pyjamas; shared our decorated potatoes we made at home; responded to the DEAR alarm and to finish the day in style we received Skype calls From Glenys Nellist over 4000 miles away in Michigan, USA. Glenys read extracts from her soon-to-be-published book 'Love Letters from God. Stories for a Girl's Heart.' She also showed us the snow in Michigan and a copy of 'Love Letters from God' in Korean.

Safer Internet Day 2017

Safer Internet Day 2017
The children have taken part in various activities this week to celebrate Safer Internet Day on Tuesday. Miss Robinson opened the day with an online safety assembly. The children then made posters, created emoji messages about online safety and discussed how to stay safe online.

Valentine's Disco - Fundraising

We are delighted to inform you that the Valentine's Disco raised £450.09 for Willowbrook Hospice. Diane and Pam from the hospice will be visiting us after half term to collect the donation. Class 9, St Helens Chamber and Willowbrook Hospice would like to thank you for your support.
