Remote learning update
Date: 27th Mar 2020 @ 12:46pm
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our parents and carers, for your patience and understanding during this period of school closure. This situation is new to us as staff as well and we have been trying hard to come up with a workable solution to ensure pupils are still being set some work by their teachers and have an opportunity to receive feedback as well.
Therefore, from Monday 30th March, each class teacher will set three pieces of work each week to ensure consistency across the school. The work will be set through Purple Mash and/or Seesaw.
Unfortunately, if you are not already connected to your child’s class Seesaw page you will not be able to access it now. This is because we need to hand out a paper copy of a QR code for you to scan and, as you are aware, this is not possible now. However, all pupils should have their Purple Mash logins as we have been using this to set homework since September 2019. The office staff do have a copy of all usernames and passwords if your child does not know their login details, however, please bear in mind we are running on a skeleton staff at school and your call may not be answered immediately. We would appreciate it if you only call as an absolute last resort as the staff in school are busy working with the keyworker children.
No work will be set by staff during the Easter holidays which are the weeks beginning 6th April and 13th April.
Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing the work our pupils are completing at home.
