Welcome to Y2

The children have settled into Y2 really well so far learning all the new routines. We have started to learn about Pirates in our Learning Means the World topic, including forces in Science, and rules and responsibility in PSHE. In Maths we have started to look at Place Value. 

Our current class book is 'George's Marvellous Medicine' and this week we all looked spectacular coming to school dressed as a Roald Dahl character on Roald Dahl day. We have already been busy writing descriptions and recipes for the characters in the story.

Some Important Information:

Our spellings and homework go home on Fridays and should be returned by the following Wednesday.

Reading books should be in school each day

At the moment, our PE day is Thursday, so please come to school dressed in the school PE kit.
